Stacey Davis

Varsity Head Coach
Head Coach Stacey Davis enters his 8th year as head coach and twelfth year as part of the coaching staff at Holy Innocents’. A 2018 member of National Hall of Fame, Coach Davis brings a wealth of wrestling experience as a Team Georgia National coach as well as until 2014 he was one of the highest-ranking International officials in the United States. He believes the opportunity to see some the best wrestling in the United States helps to fuel the growth of the Prep Slam with intentions of our local wrestlers being able to compete and witness wrestling styles from all over the United States that come to compete at the Prep Slam. Being a former collegiate wrestler (UNC – CHAPEL HILL, NC), Coach Davis knows the importance of being able to wrestle great competition helps teams prepare athletes for their end of the season individual and team state championships.

Hosting the Prep Slam in metro Atlanta provides a central location that offers additional cultural and national sites for teams to visit while in the area. “I want to thank each and every participant in The Prep Slam. Whether you are an athlete, parent, coach or simply just someone who enjoys wrestling it is my GOAL that you leave our campus with intentions of making The Prep Slam an annual event on your calendar.”

Dustin Brunner

Assistant Coach

In his third full season with the Bears, Dustin is a graduate of Pickens County high school where he placed third as a senior. Brunner went on to compete and become a two-time national qualifier at Darton College in Albany, GA. He completed his career as a national qualifier at Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska. He holds degrees in exercise science and sports management with a Masters degree in business. Coach Brunner spent two seasons coaching Bergen High school in Freemont, Nebraska where he had eight qualifiers, 6 region champs and a state placer.
